Planaly is a session scheduling app designed for personal trainers, therapists, and other session-based professionals. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.
All your data — including client information, sessions, payments, and settings — is stored locally on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, your data syncs automatically across your devices using Apple's CloudKit service. Your data is not stored on any servers owned or operated by us.
We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. We have no access to your data.
Planaly may request access to your device calendar to display your existing events alongside your sessions and to add sessions to your calendar. Calendar data is only accessed locally on your device and is never transmitted externally.
Planaly allows you to import contact information when adding clients. This uses Apple's system contact picker, which does not grant the app access to your full contact list. Only the contact you explicitly select is used, and only to fill in client details within the app.
Planaly may request permission to send local notifications to remind you of upcoming sessions. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external service.
If you choose to enable the online booking feature, a booking page is hosted separately to allow your clients to request appointments. Client booking requests (name, phone number, and requested time slot) are transmitted to a secure database to facilitate the booking process. This data is only accessible to you within the app.
If iCloud is enabled on your device, your app data syncs across your devices using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is protected by Apple's privacy and security measures. For more information, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
You can export your data at any time as a JSON file using the Export Data feature in Settings. This file is saved to a location you choose on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Planaly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
